Kariss meets Dr. Amy Garrett, who survived a brutal childhood attack in
which the assailant was never found. Now Dr. Garrett wants her story
written in a novel. Kariss wishes she could seek the advice of Special
Agent Tigo Harris, but she broke off the relationship a few months prior

My Thoughts:
After reading Mills previous book in this series, The Chase, I've been sitting on pins and needles to see what was going to happen next for Tigo and Kariss! The Survivor certainly did not disappoint! Mills is a master suspense/romance writer. The tension between Tigo and Kariss in this latest offering by Mills is so thick and she portrays it in such a way that the reader is caught up immediately. Mills also does an excellent job of sharing the story from both Tigo's and Kariss's points of view as well as catching us up on what has transpired between them between The Chase and The Survivor. How beautifully she tells almost two different plot lines within one story and ties them together in the end. Believe me...you will want to read both The Chase and The Survivor. And like me...sit on pins and needles again to see what the future holds for Tigo and Kariss!
