My Thoughts:
I read this book in one sitting. I couldn't do it any other way. And I'm not sure I have the words to express the impact this book has had on my mind and my heart. In the introduction Kara says,
One of the most striking portions of the book for me was the chapter titled Faith of a Child. At one point in the chapter, Kara shares this:

It is the transparent baring of Kara's soul as she shares how she's learned to acquire "the hardest peace" through her battle with cancer that threatens to overtake her body.
