Lone Witness

Rachel Dylan writes Christian fiction, specializing in legal romantic suspense.  Rachel has practiced law for over a decade, including being a litigator at one of the nation's top law firms.  She enjoys weaving together legal and suspenseful stories with a romantic twist.  A southerner at heart, she now lives in Michian withher husband and five furkids.  Rachel loves to connect with readers.
You can find her at:

She's the only witness to a brutal crime.  Now she can't outrun the target on her back.

Prosecutor Sophie Dawson has taken a new role at the Fulton County DA's office, and her first case involves a local bank employee who may be cheating customers.  She's determined to bring justice to those who've lost their savings...but her life is turned upside down when she becomes the only witness to a double homicide involving a vengeful gang.

With her life at risk, friends, and family convince her that she needs protection, and private guard Cooper Knight is hired as a bodyguard.  But as threats escalate, neither Cooper nor Sophie know whom they can trust.

Unwilling to back down on either case, Sophie pursues the truth at any cost.  But her bank litigation gets more complicated by the day, and the gang will st9p at nothing to keep her from taking the stand.  With all sides closing in, steadfast Cooper is the only man she can lean on.  But drawing close may be the distraction that costs both their lives.

My Thoughts:
I am really enjoying Dylan's Atlanta Justice Series!  The series follows the lives of three friends:  Kate Sullivan, Sophie Dawson, and Mia Shaw.  Lone Witness tells Sophie's story.
Dylan is a master at writing a multi-layered story with riveting action and solid characters.  What I appreciated most about Lone Witness is that as a reader, I really got the action from so many different perspectives.  Dylan's romantic piece of the story is not forced and unfolds as a natural and believable part of the story.
Don't miss Mia's story in Breach of Trust slated for release in February 2019.
*I received a complimentary copy of the book from the publisher.  All opinions stated here are my own.

Happy Reading Ya'll,
Jennifer
