Don't That Sound Like Heaven?

Do you ever get homesick?

According to the Free Online Dictionary, the meaning of "homesick" is

acutely longing for one's family or home.

We live in Southwest Florida, which puts us about 1,000 miles away from our extended families in MS and AL.  And as I've mentioned here before, homesickness is a periodic thing with which I experience.  But, when I ask if you ever get homesick, I'm talking about this:

Do you ever get homesick for heaven?

I'm talking about an aching in your heart that cries out, "Come, Lord Jesus, come!"

I love my family and I love all the earthly things with which the Lord has blessed me, but sometimes I just get

homesick.

And if you love the Lord, I bet you do too!
