I don't know too many kids who like the crust on the bread. Mine certainly don't. And those Uncrustables you can pick up in the frozen section of the grocery are so expensive.
So I came up with a budget friendly and less hassle way of dealing with the crust on the bread issue. I mean who wants to clean up all that crumble mess after you try to cut the crust off of the bread for every sandwhich you make?
My four year old loves PB&J, so he and I came up with PB&JP or Peanut Butter and Jelly Pizzas!
You take one flour tortilla and spread your favorite peanut butter on it. Take a second tortilla and spread your favorite jelly on it. Put the two together and cut into pizza slices!
Bentley loves them and to him its something different than you run of the mill peanut butter and jelly sandwhich. He likes to have a banana with his!
What is an idea you have to make a kid friendly snack food fun and inexpensive?
Counting it all Joy,
Jennifer

I wonder if I could make my own quesidillas? Morgan doesn't like peanut butter. I will have to try!
love it!!!
We use tortillas and make pizza wraps. Put a little sauce on it, throw on some pepperoni and shredded cheese. Microwave it for about 20 seconds the roll it up and you have a pizza wrap! Emma invented these! Great Sunday night snack!
Wow Big Sis, how cool are you! That reminds me of the peanut butter and fluff tortilla that Cecily had me eating when we were down this summer. I had forgotten about that. I'm gonna have to go get me some of that!
I have a great giveaway on both my blogs that will be given away this weekend....and all you have to do is comment.......so hope you will stop by.

I LOVE this idea! My kids have always eaten the crust until this summer. For some reason, they decided they didn't like it and I feel like when I cut it off, I loose half the sandwich! It just looks so small. This is a great way to get all the peanut butter in them. Now, if I can just feed them the whole wheat tortilla's... Hmmmm.
