My Thoughts About the Book:
Stress Test is the first book by Richard Mabry I have read and I AM NOW A FAN!  Mabry hits the ground running on page one with heart pounding drama and suspense and doesn't let go of his reader until the last page.  If time had permitted me to do so, I could have finished this book in one sitting, because once I started...I didn't want to stop!  Mabry expertly combines his medical knowledge and experience as a physician and his writing craft and has given us one amazing read!  The layers of characterization, suspense, mystery, medical drama and faith are deep.  I also appreciated hearing from each of the voices in the story.  The book includes a discussion guide making this an excellent choice for a book club selection; and what a time that would be!
