Beth Guckenberger and her husband, Todd, are the founders of Back2Back Ministries which communicates a lifestyle of service by sharing the love of Christ and serving God through service to others. Guckenberger travels and speaks regularly at women's and missions conferences, as well as youth gatherings and church services. In addition to her children's releases in the Storyweaver series, Guckenberger has written two mission-minded books. She has also partnered with Standard Publishing on the mission content in its 2013 VBS program. The Guckenberger family lives and serves in Monterrey, Mexico.

Tales of the Defended Ones is one of the most unique resources with missions in mind that I've seen in quite a while.  Replete with pictures and interesting facts, this book highlights the very real things happening in our world to our little ones.  Written for children, Beth Guckenberger has done an amazing job at explaining these heartbreaking realities to the younger population.  I really appreciate how she highlights the Sovereignty of God in a way most anyone could see and understand.  Guckenberger has provided an invaluable tool to help parents and church leaders alike to lead their children in knowing God and making much of Him in a sometimes very dark world.
