I don't think I will ever understand senseless killing! My heart is burdened for those families effected by the Fort Hood shootings.
I am thankful today that my three children are safe, healthy and have both my husband and myself alive and healthy and able to love and care for them.
Please visit KidSafe and leave a prayer in the comments for the families effected by this tragedy. And can we just praise God for the skill and bravery of Officer Munley! She was the civilian police officer who stepped in and stopped the shooter.

I agree. How awful to learn of someone you love dying like this. It does make us count our blessings and not sweat the small stuff.
