Thy Word

It's late here on Friday night. We are excited to have my dad and step-mom visiting with us tomorrow and Sunday. They will be driving all night tonight and should arrive sometime around 8 or 9 in the morning. We have been cleaning and getting things ready for their visit. This will be the first time they have seen JennaBeth, so I'm looking forward to a sweet visit with them.

I read Kelly's Korner regularly. She is a sweet young lady in Arkansas who is a tremendous witness and blessing through her blog. She did the neatest thing a few weeks ago and so I thought I would totally copy her with this post! She had random pictures of her family and captioned each picture with a scripture that kind of fit.

I don't know about you, but some days I just crave God's word! With three children and taking care of the three year old and six month old each day while the oldest is at school, I find it difficult to have the concentrated time I need in the Word.

So here goes...

"I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety." Psalm 4:8
"Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him." Psalm 34:8
"When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise."
Proverbs 10:19
"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity." 1 Tim.4:12

(JennaBeth with the Tanners)
"My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command." John 15 12-14

(24 inch Gator Trout)
"Come, follow me, Jesus said, and I will make you fishers of men." Mark 1:17

"Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful." Hebrews 10:22-23

Blessings,
Jennifer
